Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner
Position Responsibilities
Plan and integrate MISO / PSYOP or IO activities in support of operational objectives.
Conduct and apply Target Audience Analysis (TAA) to inform influence strategies.
Develop and support MISO series, themes, messages, and supporting products.
Contribute to CONOPs, OPLANs, OPORDs, and annexes within the Joint Planning Process (JOPP) or MDMP.
Cook up and coordinate across interagency, joint, and coalition partners.
Integrate MISO/IO efforts with other IRCs including MILDEC, OPSEC, EW, and cyberspace operations.
Develop and track Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP).
Support assessment and evaluation of influence operations.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (must be able to obtain/maintain CI Poly)
- 8+ years of experience in MISO, PSYOP, or Information Operations planning
- 5+ years supporting service-level or joint-level planning efforts
- Experience with Joint Planning Process (JOPP) or MDMP
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Target Audience Analysis (TAA)
- MISO series development / influence planning
- MOE/MOP assessment frameworks
- Ability to work on-site in a secure facility (Fort Meade, MD)
- Valid passport (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CI Polygraph
- Graduate of one or more:
- Psychological Operations Qualification Course (POQC)
- Joint Information Operations Planner Course (JIOPC) or equivalent
- Joint Cyber Operations Planner Course (JCOPC)
- Defense OPSEC Planner Course (DOPC)
- Military Deception Planner Course (MILDEC)
- Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, CCMD J39, or Joint Task Force environments
- Familiarity with cyber-enabled information operations
