About the role
This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care across diverse treatment settings, including inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). You will also provide consultative services, oversee mid-level providers, and play a key role in our GME program by teaching and supervising residents and medical students. Our practice is expanding to include outpatient services, creating an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and contribute to program development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care across diverse treatment settings, including inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings
- Provide consultative services
- Oversight of mid-level providers
- Teaching and supervising residents and medical students
- Play a key role in our GME program
- Expand outpatient services
- Manage a manageable call schedule (one weekend per month)
Requirements
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Must have a South Carolina license or be able to obtain a South Carolina Medical License prior to start
- Clinical responsibilities consist of inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings 22-bed adult only facility (no pedicatric patients)
- Monday to Friday Schedule
- One weekend per month of Call
- Supervision of APP support is required
- Interest or experience in teaching and mentoring medical trainees
- Dedication to patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- South Carolina license or ability to obtain a South Carolina Medical License prior to start
- Experience in inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings
