About the role

Mentor psychiatry residents in our robust general psychiatry residency program, tackling complex cases and helping expand mental health services in our community and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Tackle complex cases in a 74-bed free-standing facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
• Support a 7 on 7 off schedule.
• Work in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and ECT work.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4.
• Average stay duration is 7-8 days.
• Average caseload is 12-14 patients per day.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
• Idaho licensure and DEA.
• Open to J-1 Visa candidates.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have a strong commitment to providing quality care in a rural setting.
• Experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry is preferred but not required.
