About the role
The Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA) Department of Psychiatry and Psychology seeks a full-time psychiatrist with a passion for patient care, commitment to excellence, and experience in transplant psychiatry. This outpatient position is primarily focused on pre‑transplant psychiatric evaluation, participation in transplant selection committee meetings, and post‑transplant treatment of psychiatric disorders. MCA is the largest solid‑organ transplant hospital in the area, with plans to add a lung transplant program to its established kidney, liver, and heart transplant programs. The department’s mission is to provide evidence‑based, personalized mental health services for medically ill populations. The successful applicant would join a vibrant collegial team of psychiatrists, clinical health psychologists, and neuropsychologists, and, as an academic role, would teach medical students, residents, and fellows and have opportunities to engage in clinical research. The Mayo model of care emphasizes multidisciplinary teams delivering evidence‑based biologic and psychosocial treatments in a patient‑focused, highly professional, and compassionate environment.

Schedule
