About the role
The successful candidate will be an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, specializing in Fragile X research and clinical care.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead research projects focused on Fragile X syndrome.
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapy to individuals with Fragile X syndrome.
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance Fragile X research.
- Train and mentor students and fellows in Fragile X research and clinical care.
Requirements
PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field required.
- Experience in Fragile X research and/or clinical care is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Must have a strong publication record and grant writing experience.
- At least 3 years of postdoctoral experience in Fragile X research.
- Ability to secure external funding for research projects.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software.
- Experience with grant writing and proposal development.
