About the role

Psychiatry – Central New York Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join their team. You will join two psychiatrists in a practice complemented by PMHNPs. The practice is located 45 minutes from Syracuse, 80 minutes from Utica and Rochester, and 4.5 hours from New York City, with a domestic airport in Syracuse offering direct flights to 26 major US cities. H1B and J-1 visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• See approximately 14‑20 patients per day, depending on appointment type and shift length (90 minutes for initial evaluations, 15‑30 minutes for follow‑up appointments).
• Carry an outpatient panel of 175 to 225 patients.
• Participate in a 1:3 call schedule, with additional compensation for any call picked up over your 7‑day period.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
• Experience with Meditech EMR.

Pay

Guaranteed salary: $385,000–$400,000+ DOE plus wRVU.

Schedule

Monday–Friday schedule with option for a 4‑day work week. Call ratio 1:3; additional compensation for any call taken beyond the scheduled 7 days.
