Psychiatrist/Outpatient Clinic/Independent Contractor/The Villages
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC, a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits via a secure online telehealth platform. Our services include psychiatric/psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy & counseling, and neuropsychological testing. Our team of mental health professionals—psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists—cares for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above with compassion and respect, delivering individualized treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
- Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist.
- Active license in the State of Florida or in the process of obtaining one.
- Candidates in the final year of their residency may apply.
Pay
Up to $300 per hour. Additional compensation available as a collaborating physician (optional).

Schedule
As an Independent Contractor, you determine your working hours. Offices are open Monday–Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments. Availability to work via telemedicine Friday–Sunday. Option to work 50% telemedicine from the start of employment. Option to work fully (100%) remotely if serving as a collaborating physician.
