Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/Outpatient Clinic/Independent Contractor/The Villages
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC. We are a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits via a secure online telehealth platform. Our services include psychiatric/psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy & counseling, and neuropsychological testing. Our team consists of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, delivering individualized, compassionate, and respectful treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) when necessary (infrequent service in most clinics).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty.
- Board-certified to practice.
- Active license in the State of Florida.
- Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred.

Pay
Up to $130 per hour.
Schedule
As an Independent Contractor, you determine your working hours. Offices are open Monday–Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments. Availability to work via telemedicine Friday–Sunday is optional. You may work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment. On-call (phone only) seven days every 5–6 months.
