About the role

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Nocturnist - CPEP to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457‑bed, Level I Trauma Center and a respected leader in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to uphold high healthcare delivery standards. NYC Health + Hospitals’ mission is to extend equally to all New Yorkers, regardless of ability to pay, comprehensive health services of the highest quality in an atmosphere of humane care, dignity, and respect. Its values are built on a foundation of social and racial equity, guided by the ICARE standards for all staff. As the nation’s largest municipal health care delivery system, NYC Health + Hospitals is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. The Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) is a state‑of‑the‑art emergency psychiatry service offering a spectrum of multidisciplinary services designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele in the most effective and least restrictive manner possible. The 11,000‑square‑foot modern facility includes separate pediatric and adult waiting areas, patient interview rooms, a patient holding area, and six extended observation beds. The Jacobi CPEP averages approximately 700 registrations per month and has an embedded Mobile Crisis Team that conducts up to 75 visits per month.
