Psychiatrist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient psychiatric services for adult patients in a structured clinical setting. You will work on-site in a facility providing comprehensive behavioral health services, managing a caseload of 2-15 adult patients with inpatient psychiatric conditions and variable length of stay.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-time psychiatric assessments, medication management, and patient and family education.
• Lead treatment planning and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within units of 2-15 beds.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Provide education to patients and families to support recovery.

Requirements

• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Prescriptive authority.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric care.

Schedule

Day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with no call or weekend duties.
