About the role

Seeking a psychiatrist for inpatient psychiatric care in a locum tenens role.

Responsibilities

• Manage 12-14 patients per shift
• Participate in daily treatment meetings
• Provide pharmacotherapy and group therapy
• Oversee patient care and ensure effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with team members

Requirements

• Experience with involuntary commitments, restraint, and seclusion therapy
• Relevant psychiatric experience
• Proficiency in required therapeutic techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eating disorders
• Experience managing populations with anxiety, affective, psychotic, and personality disorders
