Psychiatrist (Greenville)
Job Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and implement psychiatric treatment when the level of care needed so warrants.
Supervise interdisciplinary treatment through consultation, education and individual supervision.
Carry out diagnostic staffings and ongoing treatment team meetings.
Adhere to all Corporate Compliance, Outcome Evaluation, Research and Continuity of Care Policies and procedures.
Maintain documentation of clinical services in accordance with State/Center/Quality Assurance standards.
Provide staff education, medical student and psychiatric resident training, as needed.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
- Completion of required residency in psychiatry and two (2) years of direct patient care.
- Board certification in psychiatry preferred.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Additional Comments
Post Hire, Employees Must Pass CPR and Managing Agitation in the Psychiatric Setting (MAPS) Certification.
Be licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
Have thorough knowledge of principles and practices of psychiatric medicines, excellent knowledge of recent development in Psychiatry.
Have the ability to practice within a case management system; ability to teach and supervise professional and technical personnel; skill at building work site and external liaisons and coalitions.
