What to expect
- Initiate and coordinate care for assigned patients within the inpatient or day hospital setting.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, admission assessments, and physical examinations.
- Determine the need for hospitalization or continued treatment.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide medication management, conduct individual and group therapies.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively with families and referring providers, and adjust treatment as needed in response to clinical progress.

What we need from you
- Active medical license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility).
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry, with additional certification or fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Maryland Controlled Substances Registration and valid DEA Certificate.
- Completion of a psychiatry residency training program.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Two or more years of experience in an acute psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in inpatient or partial hospitalization programs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $3,000.00 per weekend. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, board certifications and years and level of related experience.
