Evaluations and Services
- Evaluate medical and psychosocial conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans including prescription of psychotropic medications
- Maintain documentation of services including service plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and other required information
- Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients
Responsibilities
- Establish treatment goals and methodologies
- Receive medical supervision from Medical Director
- Coordinate care with other prescribers, therapists, and other community providers
- Document all medical/clinical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, education, and consultations in the electronic medical/clinical record
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Medicine with a Residency in Psychiatry
- Current State of Maryland Physician License
- Board certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Valid DEA and CDS Certification
