We are seeking a Per Diem Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician) to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Roxborough, Pennsylvania area. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical medicine consultations
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Provide appropriate medication management and procedural interventions within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and communication with referring providers
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure
- DEA registration
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
