About The Role As a psychiatrist, you’ll use your training, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills in providing compassionate care for patients. Responsibilities include: Oversees and provides direct patient psychiatric careFacilitates care coordination and clinical collaborationEnsures quality care and risk mitigationProvides clinical collaboration and supervision to psychiatric APP staff You will be primarily based at our Blasdell location, 4233 Lake Ave in Blasdell. Education And Skills To Be a Psychiatrist Must be a graduate of a four (4) year recognized medical school; must have completed residency in appropriate fieldMust possess a current NYS physician license and be a Board eligible/certified in field of specialtyKindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s storyResiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges ariseTeamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goalsAble to read, write and speak the English language; a second language of Spanish preferred What We Offer Compensation: $265,000 - $285,000 annually (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week) Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components Benefits: You’ll have options for medical, dental, life, and supplemental insurance. We also offer a 403b match, health savings accounts with employer contribution, wellbeing programs, continuing education opportunities, generous paid time off, holidays. Tuition Reimbursement Potential: Our FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for Nurse Practitioners, up to $50,000 for a full time commitment and up to $25,000 for a part time commitment. A two-year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
