PSYCHIATRIST - AMBULATORY DIVISION HEAD (ADULT)
About the role
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) is expanding clinical services, teaching, and research programs. An open faculty position as Division Head of Ambulatory Psychiatry is available.
Responsibilities
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care; enhance service efficiency and clinical productivity; develop new treatment programs; teach medical students, residents, and other trainees; foster a collaborative environment; conduct clinical research; and share duties with other members of the department.
Lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with other clinical departments within a collaborative care framework.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in clinical care and program development
- Active ACGME board certification in General Psychiatry
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
Qualifications
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree
- New Jersey medical license
