Psychiatrist-Adult Population

Duties & Responsibilities

• Completes psychiatric diagnostic assessments and follow-ups and makes recommendations for treatment within an evidence-based framework.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions.
• Provides consultation regarding client care to clinical staff.
• Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts.
• Serves Adults only.
• May provide services and support across all outpatient clinics in DeKalb County.
• May serve clients who are part of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program.
• Provides administrative support to agency in medical matters in the absence of the Medical Director.
• May serve as the delegating or designated physician and provide medical supervision to Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).

Minimum Training & Experience

• Adult Psychiatrist.
• G.A. State Medical License and DEA.
• Currently Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Addiction and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience preferred.
