Schedule
Full-time position with flexible schedules including 4- and 5-day workweeks. Hybrid work schedule: remote half-time and in-office 2 days per week.
Essential Functions
- Provide direct medical and psychiatric services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of patients.
- Ensure clinicians receive appropriate clinical supervision.
- Work with multidisciplinary staff to evaluate and triage patients based on acuity.
- Share 24-hour on-call responsibilities for residential, outpatient, and emergency care.
- Maintain telephone availability for emergency patient evaluations.
- Conduct utilization reviews for patients in continuing care.
- Attend team and other meetings as necessary.
- Provide consultation on patient care and difficult cases.
- Attend continuing medical education conferences to maintain care standards.
- Comply with organizational goals around quality, compliance, standards, and policies.
- Complete required education and training in a timely manner.
- Provide timely information to credentialing, payroll, and other administrative functions.
- Accurately and completely document patient care.
- Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the care team.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO).
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program in psychiatry.
- Active Colorado Medical License or Valid Prescriptive Authority in good standing (out-of-state multi-state or compact licenses are not sufficient).
- Valid and current DEA registration.
- Preferred: DEA-X waiver.
- Preferred: Three years of relevant clinical work experience.
Required Vaccination and TB Test
Annual influenza vaccination and negative TB test result required before the first day of work. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested.
