PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN III

About the role

Psychiatric Technician III position at Northside Geriatric requires demonstration of competency in basic patient care skills, positive interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, ability to learn basic computer skills, good physical and mental health, and the ability to lift, bend, pull and push using proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in basic patient care skills
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess the ability to learn basic computer skills
• Possess good physical and mental health
• Be able to lift, bend, pull and push, using good body mechanics, without limitations
• Wear properly fitting respiratory protective mask for periods of time without limitations
• Demonstrate the ability to work under stressful conditions

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program
• Current certification in Basic Life Support
