About the Role
Assist in the treatment and care of psychiatric patients under supervision in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities
- Support patient care in inpatient psychiatric settings
- Observe and report patient conditions
- Follow established treatment procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 2+ years of mental health or patient care experience
- Relevant certifications such as mental health technology or licensed nursing assistant
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, observation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to report pertinent patient information accurately
Certifications
- BLS certification (required or preferred)
- De-escalation/restraint program certification (required or preferred)
Pay
Pay range from $21.96 to $31.99 per hour, with differential rates for evenings, nights, and weekends.
