About the role

Shady Grove Medical Center - Behavioral Health seeks to hire a Psychiatric Tech who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
• Monitor therapeutic treatment.
• Recognize and value differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
• Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care.
• Uses information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in related field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

Full Time, 36 hrs/week, Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45am-7:15pm, 3- 12 hour shifts weekly, Shift Type: Night, Every other weekend assigned, Assigned holiday rotation, Shift Differential Eligible: Yes
