About the role

The County of San Mateo is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Psychiatric Social Worker I/II - Marriage & Family Therapist I/II Forensic Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to individuals, families, and groups in forensic mental health settings.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Psychiatric Social Worker I/II and/or Marriage & Family Therapist I/II in California.
• Experience working in forensic mental health settings preferred.

Qualifications

• At least six months (1040 hours) of continuous service in a classified regular, probationary, extra help/limited term positions prior to the final filing date will receive five points added to their final passing score on this examination.

Pay

• $45.74 - $57.18 hourly
• $7,928.27 - $9,911.20 monthly
• $95,139.20 - $118,934.40 annually
• $51.43 - $64.32 hourly
• $8,914.53 - $11,148.80 monthly
• $106,974.40 - $133,785.60 annually
