Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Hybrid Schedule

About the role

As the fastest growing behavioral health practice group in the country, LifeStance Health is actively looking to hire talented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in the Poway area.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on clinical expertise and patient needs.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, including physical exams and psychological evaluations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain clinical competency.

Requirements

• Current California license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMPNP).
• Unencumbered DEA license.
• Experience in medication management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• ACNP certification preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
