Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy as needed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months PMHNP experience required.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Licensed in Maryland with the ability to practice independently.
- Experience with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
- Experience in both medication management and therapy.
