About the role
This position works weekdays with an occasional option to work evenings and weekends. There is on-call responsibility twice a year.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, typically adults who have been discharged from state hospitals, or reside in assisted living facilities or adult family homes and have difficult behaviors to manage.
- Provide individualized psychiatric medication evaluations, prescriptions, and follow-up visits as needed.
- Work 20 hours per week, daytime and evening flexible schedule.
- Travel once a month or every other month to facilities across various WA counties for in-person client meetings.
Requirements
- PMHNP preference and active ARNP license in WA or ability to become licensed in WA.
- Prior experience working with the geriatric population and/or adults.
- Intermediate level skills of technology for at-home tele-health service.
- Satisfactory results of State and Federal background checks.
- Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance.
