About the Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will meet with clients, typically adults who have been discharged from state hospitals, or reside in assisted living facilities or adult family homes and have difficult behaviors to manage. You will meet with your clients regularly to provide individualized psychiatric medication evaluations, prescriptions, and follow-up visits as needed. This position works weekdays with an occasional option to work evenings and weekends. There is on-call responsibility twice a year.

Location: Tacoma, WA area. Part-time, 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized psychiatric medication evaluations and prescriptions
• Conduct follow-up visits as needed
• Travel once a month or every other month to facilities across various WA counties for in-person client meetings

Requirements

• PMHNP preference and active ARNP license in WA or ability to become licensed in WA
• Active DEA
• Prior experience working with the geriatric population and/or adults
• Intermediate-level skills in technology for at-home telehealth service
• Willing and able to travel to facilities across WA counties
• Satisfactory results of State and Federal background checks
• Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance

Pay

$70–$80/hour with additional productivity incentives available.

Schedule

Around 20 hours/week, daytime and evening flexible schedule. Part-time, full-time, and PRN/temp positions available.
