Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time)
About the role
Armada Recovery is seeking a compassionate, experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This position provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and clinical support for adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services. We are seeking a provider who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Provide medication management and ongoing treatment recommendations
- Review and monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with therapists, counselors, nursing staff, and medical providers
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Preferred: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
- Preferred: Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, PHP, IOP, or outpatient psychiatric settings
- Required: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Required: DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Required: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Required: Experience managing psychiatric medications
- Required: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Note: Candidates with significant psychiatric and behavioral health experience are encouraged to apply, even if they do not hold a PMHNP certification.
Schedule
Part-Time Schedule: Approximately 20-22 hours per week; 4 hours/day, 5 days per week, or 4 hours/day, 4 days per week and 6 hours on one day. Flexible scheduling available.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate based on experience, qualifications, and specialty certification.
