Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic services to all on the identified caseload.
- Request and monitor lab results as needed.
- Complete Psychiatric and Mental Health Assessments from intake to prescription with evidenced-based practices.
- Patient education and any contraindications on medication names, dosages, functions, and side effects.
- Write prescriptions for all consumers on the identified caseload and monitor/manage side effects as needed.
- Approve refills, coordinate with pharmacies, and maintain current orders.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of emergency services and protocols for individual care.
- Must be familiar with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, ADHD and able to assess and/or do medication management including continuity of care with LAI.
- Able to comply with regulations and prescribe controlled substances as regulated by DEA and any applicable OAR’s.
- Ability to travel to numerous nursing homes within the surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Extended Class Registration Examination completion.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- University/college psychiatric nursing program.
- Registered with a regulatory body.

Pay
$95–$110 per hour.
