About the role

Join IMA Clinical Research and play a key role in advancing new mental health treatments through clinical trials. In this position, you'll perform psychiatric assessments, evaluate study participants, and work alongside an experienced research team—all while enjoying a predictable weekday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
  • Administer standardized psychiatric rating scales and research assessments.
  • Determine participant eligibility for clinical research studies.
  • Complete protocol-required clinical and physical assessments.
  • Partner with investigators and clinical research staff to ensure high-quality study execution.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation while adhering to regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Requirements

  • Active New York Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Interest in clinical research or evidence-based psychiatric care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in New York State.
  • Experience in psychiatric practice, preferably in a clinical research setting.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
