Psychiatric NP Inpatient/ED

About the role

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high quality professional Psychiatric services to patients on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit 4B and the ED of University Hospital. Specific services include diagnostic assessments, treatment and discharge planning, working in a multidisciplinary treatment team model.

Minimum Qualifications

• NYS licensed/registered Psychiatric NP required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice)
• Master's Degree
• NPI number
• DEA certification
• Medical malpractice insurance
• Medicare enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN)
• National Certification through AANP or ANCC prior to hire
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• Psychiatric inpatient/ED NP experience preferred

Monday through Friday Days

Pay

L5-L6: $99,000 - $165,000 (based on full time, 1.0 FTE; prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE). Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations.
