About the role
This role is predominantly remote, with the potential for future in-person consultations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health, medical history, and risk analysis.
- Use novel evidence-based treatments to evaluate and treat patients with conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans, combining medication and brief psychotherapy, in collaboration with other mental health and medical professionals.
- Explore and integrate new therapeutic techniques and technologies to enhance patient outcomes and care efficiency.
- Participate in case reviews with peers and physicians to enhance clinical skills and foster ongoing learning.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP in Utah (Utah APRN / PMHNP).
- Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC) (or equivalent PMHNP national certification).
- Active DEA registration (required if prescribing controlled substances).
- Eligible for Utah controlled substance privileges through DOPL as required for prescribing (as applicable to your role/panel).
- At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP.
- Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure with our team.
- Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort using technology and electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
