Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Part-Time, Full-Time, Remote (Utah, USA)

About the role

This role is predominantly remote, with the potential for future in-person consultations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health, medical history, and risk analysis.
• Use novel evidence-based treatments to evaluate and treat patients with conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
• Create and execute tailored treatment plans, combining medication and brief psychotherapy, in collaboration with other mental health and medical professionals.
• Explore and integrate new therapeutic techniques and technologies to enhance patient outcomes and care efficiency.
• Participate in case reviews with peers and physicians to enhance clinical skills and foster ongoing learning.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP in Utah (Utah APRN / PMHNP).
• Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC) (or equivalent PMHNP national certification).
• Active DEA registration (required if prescribing controlled substances).
• Eligible for Utah controlled substance privileges through DOPL as required for prescribing (as applicable to your role/panel).
• At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP.
• Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure with our team.
• Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort using technology and electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
