Position Summary
Blackbird Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage medication for children, adolescents, and young adults. Employment Options

Compensation & Benefits
- Total Earning Potential: Up to $175,000+ annually
- Guaranteed income with predictable scheduling
- Base Salary: $72,500 for part-time schedule (20 hours/week)
- Additional Earnings: $100 per clinical hour for additional patients beyond your base caseload

How You'll Make an Impact
- Provide Comprehensive Psychiatric Care: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses, developing personalized treatment plans and providing medication management
- Build Meaningful Therapeutic Relationships: Spend time with patients and families to understand their needs, provide education, and build trust
- Drive Patient Progress & Safety: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure safety
- Collaborate for Integrated Care: Work with therapists and other healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans
- Educate & Empower Families: Provide consultation and education to patients and their families, helping them understand diagnoses, treatment options, and support their child's mental health journey
- Ensure Clinical Excellence & Compliance: Oversee diagnostic testing, maintain thorough records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
The Basics You'll Need
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
- PMHNP-BC certification
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure
- Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/APRN license
- DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority
- Your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet
- Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends
