Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Lakeville, MN

About the role

In this role, you’ll practice at the forefront of behavioral health integration, delivering psychiatric expertise embedded within a primary care clinic setting. You’ll collaborate directly with medical providers and behavioral health clinicians to improve patient access and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Practice psychiatric consultation, direct patient evaluation, and treatment within the outpatient clinic setting
• Support early identification and management of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions
• Work closely with primary care providers, psychologists, therapists, and care managers to develop care pathways and quality improvement projects in integrated behavioral health
• Provide adult psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing follow-up

Requirements

• Master's degree - Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of experience in mental health and addiction

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
• Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required
• BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
• Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire

• Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally

Pay

Pay Range: $148,835 to $177,500 per year

Schedule

M-F schedule, with hybrid remote/on-site at Lakeville North Clinic
8 hour day shifts
No weekend work
No current or expected call rotation
