Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Shakopee, MN

About the role

In this role, you’ll practice at the forefront of behavioral health integration, delivering psychiatric expertise embedded within a primary care clinic setting. You’ll collaborate directly with medical providers and behavioral health clinicians to improve patient access and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Practice psychiatric expertise within a primary care clinic setting
• Collaborate with medical providers and behavioral health clinicians
• Provide adult psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing follow-up
• Support early identification and management of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions
• Participate in the development of care pathways and quality improvement projects in integrated behavioral health

Requirements

• Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Experience working as a psychiatric mental health NP
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
• Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner required
• BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
• Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire

Pay

Pay Range: $148,835 to $177,500 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).

Schedule

M-F schedule, with hybrid remote/on-site at Shakopee Clinic
8 hour day shifts
No weekend work
No current or expected call rotation
