Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - La Crosse, Outpatient

About the role

Join our team of highly collaborative professionals at Emplify Health (Gundersen Region) in La Crosse, WI. Our practice offers a continuum of care including Child and Adolescent services, ECT, Eating Disorder Clinic, DBT, Partial Hospitalization, and more. We are part of a multi-state region where advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician and may need to provide outreach services.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric and mental health care to patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions
• Prescribe medications and provide therapy as appropriate
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and clinical staff

Requirements

• Completed an accredited program and eligible to obtain a license in our multi-state region
• Must be licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
• Experience in psychiatric mental health nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
