About the role
Join a network of licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) in Georgia to provide high-quality mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning, including medication management.
- Manage patients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
- Utilize telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) for patient care.
- Provide flexible scheduling, with initial consultations and follow-up visits.
- Focus on patient care while administrative tasks like credentialing, billing, and marketing are handled by the organization.
- Coordinate with support and care teams for comprehensive patient management.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric mental health, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis management.
- Unrestricted license, valid DEA number, and certification as a PMHNP by ANCC.
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
- Master’s or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited institution.
- Ability to provide telehealth services and work independently or with collaborating physicians.
- No recent disciplinary actions or exclusions from federal healthcare programs.
