Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (In-Person)

About the role

We are seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) with office space in Georgia to join a diverse network of contracted providers. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric workups, and medication management for patients with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.

Responsibilities

• Providing telehealth consultations with flexible scheduling
• Utilizing the provided EHR and telehealth platform
• Focusing on patient care while administrative tasks like billing, credentialing, and marketing are handled by the organization
• Engaging in treatment planning and crisis management as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with mental health assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and crisis management skills
• Unrestricted license and valid DEA registration in Georgia
• Certification as a PMHNP by the ANCC and registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing from an accredited institution
• Ability to provide telehealth services and work independently or with collaborating physicians
