Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
• Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach at all times.
• Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights.
• Prescribes medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
• Encourages positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
• Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
• Performs designated procedures.
• Ensures compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Board License – PMHNP.
• Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
• Willingness to work more hours as needed.
• Need to be open with 1099.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
• Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
• Two years relevant clinical health experience preferred.

Compensation

Compensation: 60% of Revenue
