Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

An active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license as a PMHNP or Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations (CBE’s) of Merakey clients referred for psychiatric treatment.
• Provide medication appointments, prescriptions, and monitoring.
• Maintain complete, timely, and appropriate documentation in clinical records and electronic health record for clients served.
• Complete all applications and credentialing information for Merakey third party insurance contracts as needed.
• Provide consultation to Merakey staff with regard to client care and treatment.
• Submit service referrals and applications to appropriate departments and agencies (such as case management or other additional services needed to support client within or outside of Merakey).
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and continuing education activities to further develop professional skills in psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Experience with Integrated Health preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, including clinical and clerical staff.
• Expert assessment, diagnostic, and psycho-pharmacological treatment skills.

Pay

$70-90/hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Flexible two days (10-16 hours) per week Monday-Friday.
