Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Requirements
Certified Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP with prescriptive authority.
Minimum one year of experience in community mental health.
The Ideal Candidate Will Posses Experience with integrated health preferred.
Experience in crisis intervention, urgent care, or emergency psychiatric settings is preferred.
Licensed in State of Pennsylvania.
Valid Child Abuse, State Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
Conducting psychiatric patient evaluations to determine medication needs, documenting evaluations and interactions with the patient in the electronic health record.
Prescribing pharmacologic therapies including controlled substances, monitoring progress and making necessary changes to patients' medications.
Facilitating direct patient admissions into hospitals when needed.
Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to develop coordinated treatment plans.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
Experience in community mental health.
Valid Child Abuse, State Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
Licensed in State of Pennsylvania.

Pay
Earn up to $80.00/hour (depending on experience).
Schedule
10 hours/week (onsite)
