Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
- Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-up care
- Treat a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, and behavioral disorders
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Participate in treatment planning for patients receiving TMS and Spravato services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Provide telepsychiatry services as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment options, and wellness strategies
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active Pennsylvania NP license or ability to obtain DEA license or ability to obtain
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
- 2+ years of experience practicing as a PMHNP
