About the role

Ellie Mental Health is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. They are launching a new medication management service line to support their clients with integrated psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (initial assessments)
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop medication treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (evaluations and med management notes)
• Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements

Qualifications

• Full license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
• Active license in at least one of the following states: MD or VA Multi-state licensure preferred
• Active DEA or CDS license Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
• Comfort managing a high-functioning outpatient caseload
• Experience working with insurance-based populations
• Comfort treating a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders)
• Interest in helping develop and grow a new service line
