Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse
About the role
The nursing position is responsible for completing and monitoring all medical requirements of the program. Merakey Adult Behavioral Health Services support individuals in attaining wellness and recovery through respectful, person-centered relationships and services. These services will promote hope and empowerment to help individuals reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Complete and monitor all medical requirements of the program.
- Support individuals in attaining wellness and recovery through respectful, person-centered relationships and services.
- Promote hope and empowerment to help individuals reach their full potential.
- Work in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) facility, with individuals having a mental illness.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program and possess a valid PA Licensed Practical Nurse licensure - required.
- One year of psychiatric mental health paid or unpaid experience required.
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program and possess a valid PA Licensed Practical Nurse licensure - required.
- One year of psychiatric mental health paid or unpaid experience required.
Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system.
- Valid Driver’s License.
