Psychiatric APRN (PMHNP)

About the role

Join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing outpatient care in the Council Bluffs, IA area. The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. In addition, there is a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

You will be part of a collaborative outpatient clinic that provides a wide variety of outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychological testing, individual and family psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The group provides a team-based approach to care and includes nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers offering services such as outpatient, acute inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, addiction treatment, and residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations, diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions in adults and adolescents.
• Expertly balance a productive practice while efficiently managing a caseload.
• Deliver comprehensive, whole-person care that addresses both mental and physical well-being.
• Actively contribute as a collaborative team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Certified by the ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to work with both adult and adolescent populations.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska and Iowa.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders.

Pay

$127,897 - $149,213 per year, with eligibility for productivity bonuses. Relocation assistance is available for new hires who meet eligibility requirements.
