Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

About the role

LifeStance Health is a rapidly growing behavioral health practice group dedicated to improving access to mental healthcare. We are currently seeking experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join our clinical team in Cranston, RI.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients.
• Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness.
• Evaluate treatment plans and provide referrals for additional treatment needs.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
• Provide therapy sessions as part of comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

• Licensed in one or more US states with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PMHNP-BC).
• Experience with adult and/or child and adolescent populations with a variety of mental healthcare needs.
• Experience in both medication management and therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current licensure as a PMHNP in at least one state.
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in psychiatric mental health nursing.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current guidelines in mental health.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay

$187,200 to $299,520 annually.
