Psych Tech, Non-Certified - Psych Adult - Full-Time Nights

About Us

Located at Freeman East Hospital, we offer behavioral health care to those in need. The Adult Psych unit is an inpatient psychiatric locked unit consisting of 42 beds. The Geri Psych unit consists of 10 beds. The Behavioral Health Units treat acute psychiatric illnesses for this region.

Schedule

Full-Time Nights | 36 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for the psychiatric patient.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete Freeman UAP Program within 90 days of hire
• Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 120 days
• NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification and/or experience as a Nurse Tech/Assistant in a hospital setting
• Applied Physical Skills (APS) preferred, but not required
