Summary
This position works directly with mental health consumers by assisting persons with functional disabilities resulting from mental illness to develop, enhance, and/or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal adjustment, and/or independent living skills.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position, OR
- An associate's degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service, OR
- A CPS Certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service
- A high school diploma or equivalency and two years of work experience in human services, which must include one year of mental health direct care experience
Certifications & Licenses
- CPRP certification is preferred; shall seek to obtain within 2 years of hire
- Valid driver's license
