Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Lead and manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring proper documentation and risk evaluation
  • Coordinate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and track action items through completion
  • Ensure PSM program compliance and maintain audit readiness at all times
  • Support and lead internal and external safety audits, resolving findings promptly
  • Develop, maintain, and improve PSM documentation, procedures, and training materials
  • Support and lead internal and external safety audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and identified gaps
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve PSM procedures, documentation, and training programs
  • Deliver employee training and awareness programs on process safety requirements and best practices
  • Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Oversee Mechanical Integrity programs to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new and modified equipment

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting Process Safety Management programs in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements
  • Experience facilitating risk assessments, hazard analyses, and process safety reviews
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, and Process Hazard Analysis methodologies
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated commitment to driving a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement
