Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Lead and manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring proper documentation and risk evaluation
- Coordinate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and track action items through completion
- Ensure PSM program compliance and maintain audit readiness at all times
- Support and lead internal and external safety audits, resolving findings promptly
- Develop, maintain, and improve PSM documentation, procedures, and training materials
- Support and lead internal and external safety audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and identified gaps
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve PSM procedures, documentation, and training programs
- Deliver employee training and awareness programs on process safety requirements and best practices
- Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Oversee Mechanical Integrity programs to ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new and modified equipment
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline
- 3–5 years of experience supporting Process Safety Management programs in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements
- Experience facilitating risk assessments, hazard analyses, and process safety reviews
- Knowledge of Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, and Process Hazard Analysis methodologies
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions
- Demonstrated commitment to driving a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement
