Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pour premixed paint into reservoir for painting and clean paint reservoir after lot is complete.
- Mix paint to formula or customer specified request.
- Place paint racks onto conveyor or onto transfer table that carries them into machine.
- Mix paints with thinner solution according to formula.
- Monitor robots and quality-inspect robot performance.
- Remove fasteners from the conveyor belt; package and palletize finished product.
- Operate all machine computers.
- Set up pumps, hoses, and spray guns.
- Understand the complete painting process.
- Perform and document daily/preventive maintenance per schedule (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, filter/line checks, and basic adjustments) to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality, and optimal equipment uptime; report abnormal conditions and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Problem-solve by tracking process steps from start to finish.
- Manage and organize spare parts for machine.
- Manual operation of oven.
- Serve as a backup for other paint processes (manual spray painter, dumper, manual paint mixer) and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
